Until recently, i very rarely used a skin moisturizing cream | Auto

Until recently, I very rarely used a skin moisturizing cream. However, I have become very frustrated with my wrinkles getting worse, dry skin, and my face looking old, drawn and tired all the time. So I decided to do some research on the Internet, to find a way of making an improvement without resorting to collagen injections or plastic surgery.

What an eye opener! I have no idea how women make a decision on buying skin cream. There are hundreds of companies with thousands of products, they each tell you theirs is the best, most special, and greatest one of all time that will magically solve all your skin problems. Obviously this promotion works, otherwise they couldn’t afford to spend the millions they do on magazine, TV and Internet advertising.

Being a bit skeptical in my old age and wanting proper facts, I started delving into the more technical issues regarding skin degradation and aging – and it’s not rocket science.

Simply stated – skin sags and wrinkles get deeper because the building block proteins under the skin, called collagen and elastin break down as we get older. Collagen has a triple helix fibrous matrix shape and is responsible for maintaining cells structure. It makes up about 30% of your body’s protein content and it’s your main connective tissue.

Elastin on the other hand is responsible for giving your skin its elasticity. Pinch a baby’s skin and it springs back immediately. Pinch the skin on the back of your hand and let go – how long did it take to get back to shape. Mine just took a slow 40 seconds. Unless you can regenerate your elastin it will continue to reduce even further as you age.

Searching the Internet again for collagen and elastin remedies, revealed thousands of entries promoting skin creams containing collagen. This seemed like a reasonable solution to help my deteriorating wrinkle problem. However, coming across a couple of medical sites changed my thinking on the subject.

You can’t just put collagen protein on your face with a collagen cream, and expect a result. This is because the molecules are too big to fit through your top epidermis skin layer, and won’t have any affect on your collagen and elastin under the skin.

Further research revealed a company in New Zealand has patented a new ingredient called Cynergy TK with functional keratin”(TM)” that can stimulate both collagen and elastin production.

I decided to try this deep wrinkle cream and have been using it for only a short time now. And believe it or not – the wrinkles haven’t magically disappeared from my face.

However, I didn’t expect them to. I imagine it will take 2 to 3 months for any noticeable difference. But, I’m pleased to say I can see an improvement to my skin quality, it’s definitely softer, not as dry and not looking as tired. I might be kidding myself, but I think my wrinkles don’t look as sharp, deep and harsh as they were, they appear softer and more rounded.

In conclusion. A baby boomer with deep wrinkled skin – is not a good look. It makes good common sense to me, that if you can build collagen and elastin levels under the skin, it must help reduce your wrinkles. Spend a few minutes on my website below, to see which deep wrinkle cream I have decided to use after a lot of research.
